Heritage Park keeps its historical village running all three days of the long weekend, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission gets you onto the steam train, into the gold panning troughs, and out to the Ranch Yard to see the animals - there are also Thanksgiving dining specials in the park's restaurants if you want to make a full day of it.
Admission is $39.95 for adults, $27.95 for kids 3-15, and free for kids under 3; parking is $13 for the day.
