Every September, Calgarians gather at The Confluence for a run that's less about racing and more about showing up — a 5K route along the river pathway and through St. Patrick's Island, with an optional climb up the Mound.
Registration is free (donations toward Terry Fox Foundation cancer research are welcome), and it draws a good mix of families, running groups, and neighbours.
