Calgary is hosting the Grey Cup this year, and the festival takes over Stampede Park from November 11 to 14 ahead of the 113th Grey Cup game at McMahon Stadium on November 15. There's a mix of ticketed events - concerts, team parties, the rodeo - and free programming open to everyone, including the Suncor Street Festival, a pancake breakfast, an evening drone show, and a Telus Family Fun Zone.
Even if football isn't your thing, it's worth knowing about if you're showing homes or driving clients around that part of the city that week - expect bigger crowds and road closures near Stampede Park and McMahon Stadium.
